Leonetto Cappiello (1875 – 1942) was an Italian and French poster art designer and painter, who mainly lived and worked in Paris. He is now often called 'the father of modern advertising' because of his innovation in poster design.
Victoria Arduino, the Italian company and manufacturer of commercial grade espresso coffee machines and grinders was founded in 1905.
Artist exhibition posters have become works of art in their own right. They were originally designed and created especially for the occasion.
20th century Artists were very aware that these creations had to reach the widest audiences and so spent a lot of their energy and time on their design and quality.
This is a poster after the original.
