Joan Miró i Ferrà (1893-1983) was a Spanish painter, sculptor, and ceramicist born in Barcelona. A museum dedicated to his work, the Fundació Joan Miró, was established in his native city of Barcelona in 1975, and another, the Fundació Pilar i Joan Miró, was established in his adoptive city of Palma de Mallorca in 1981.

Derrière le Miroir was a French art magazine created in 1946 and published by Aime Maeght until 1982. Art galleries, auction houses and booksellers often refer to this art magazine simply as D.L.M. or DLM
This edition of Derreier La Mirior was completely dedicated to Alexander Calder and was published on the occasion of his exhibition at Gallery Maeght in Paris in 1975.
